As the summer comes to a close, that means back-to-school shopping! Regardless if you're going back to school this fall, it connotes a new beginning and a reason to shop for new garments. Everyone could use a fresh amidst the hustle and bustle we call life. Aside from the basic t-shirt and jeans, we've come up with easy and versatile must-haves to update your wardrobe.
1. The Scarf
Not only does it keep you warm but it's also a fun way to inject colour, pattern or texture into a simple outfit.

2. The Midi Dress
This option is perfect for those who still want to be feminine and show a little bit of leg without sacrificing too much warmth on chillier days. It's so chic and easy to slip on, especially if you're running late for class. Just throw on a scarf and leather jacket and you're out the door! You could also wear it with a plaid shirt wrapped around your waist when you're indoors. I could go on for days talking about the million ways to wear this… but I'll just pause here.

Keep in mind, a midi dress can also be dressed up with accessories because it's such a versatile basic!
3. Boots
A trusty pair of boots is a must to keep you comfortable while running around from class to class. Here's a quick tip for styling boots, the higher the boot, the shorter the bottoms. For example, tall boots with shorts or skirt; short boots with midi dresses or jeans.
4. Carry-All Bag
One thing to look for in a large bag are pockets to keep it organized as possible in the abyss. Another thing is to match the colour of your bag with your shoes, that way you'll always look put together.
5. Lipstick
If you don't live under a rock, you'd know this colour rage over Kylie Jenner's lipstick has taken over the internet. I think it's the most perfect shade for fall, it's a muted rosy taupe. Sources say that Kylie uses MAC Whirl lip liner, along with Velvet Teddy, Brave, or Twig lipsticks. But if you're a student on a budget I've compiled a list of similarlipsticks under 10$!
